Orthopedic Surgery

Orthopedics

Injury, trauma, degenerative disease, or a congenital disorder of the musculoskeletal system can cause discomfort and keep you from living an active lifestyle. If nonsurgical techniques no longer relieve pain, orthopedic surgery may help you regain agility and movement so that you can be active without discomfort. We have experience repairing or reconstructing hands, wrists, elbows, shoulders, hips, knees, ankles and feet. Many orthopedic surgeries can be accomplished utilizing minimally invasive and arthroscopic techniques which reduce your time in the hospital and help you recover more quickly. Also see our joint replacement page for more information.

Hand Surgery

Numerous bones, joints, muscles and tendons within the hand allow for the wide range of movement needed for everyday activities. Our hand surgeons have experience performing procedures to help alleviate pain, repair damage and regain range of motion. Procedures include:

Hand surgery

  • Arthroscopic surgery
  • Carpal tunnel decompression
  • Removal of soft tissue mass, ganglion palm or wrist, flexor sheath, etc.
  • Fracture fixation/ open and closed reduction of fractures/ dislocations of the skeleton
  • Biopsy and excision of soft tissue/ bony masses / debridement of soft tissue
  • Arthrodesis, osteotomy and ligament reconstruction of the major peripheral joints
  • Fasciotomy and fasciectomy
