Margaret Hadcock, MD, FACS, is a board certified general surgeon who has been practicing in Fresno since 1984. Since 1993 she has limited her practice to the care of patients with breast disease. She has developed and expanded services and support for breast cancer patients in the San Joaquin Valley. Frequent community lectures to patients, families, other health care providers and fellow physicians have helped her reach out to the Fresno community with her message.
Dr. Hadcock is a founding member of the multidisciplinary conference that is held weekly to review patient care and foster progressive discussion of care. She has promoted development of lymphedema services provided by certified lymphedema therapists and has extended knowledge of practical prevention of lymphedema to medical colleagues.
Simplifying the process of diagnosis, surgical treatment, and coordination of care with other breast cancer specialists is a hallmark of Dr.. Hadcock’s office, along with communication to you and your physician.
Dr. Hadcock was born on the high plains in northern Montana, attended Carroll College in Helena, Montana, and medical school and surgical residency at Loyola University Medical Center in Chicago. She is a member for the American Society of Breast Surgeons and maintains her practice with continual education. She is the wife of Bill Hadcock, a vascular surgeon, and mother of three, who keep her teetering between young and old, but always humble.
Dr. Hadcock performs in-office core biopsies and has an office ultrasound to aid in diagnosis and management of breast disease. She is committed to coordinating care with your primary care physician, and to arranging appropriate specialist consultations and referrals for support and complimentary services. She continually expands her surgical skills to allow for a cancer surgery that limits the amount of contour change in the breast.
