Dr. Andrew Maxwell specializes in Ophthalmology and is Board Certified in Ophthalmology. Dr. Maxwell has also earned inclusion on the HealthGrades Honor Roll and has been listed as one of the Best Doctors in America for over two decades.
Dr. Maxwell earned his medical degree in 1976 from the Medical University of South Carolina College of Medicine. He completed a residency at the Jules Stein Eye Institute at the University of California, Los Angeles in 1977. Dr. Maxwell earned his undergraduate degree and a PhD from the University of California, Davis. He has edited two ophthalmology textbooks and has published over 50 peer reviewed-scientific papers.
