Dalal, Aliasgar

Dr. Dalal is a board-certified orthopedic surgeon who specializes in hip and knee replacement. He graduated Summa Cum Laude in molecular cell and developmental biology from UCLA and received his M.D. from the UCSD School of Medicine.

After practicing in Arizona for several years, Dr. Dalal is excited to be closer to his family in the Central Valley. He brings a wealth of experience in the surgical and nonsurgical treatment of hip and knee arthritis. Dr. Dalal served as a sub-investigator on 10 clinical trials in the treatment of arthritis in addition to his clinical practice at his prior appointment.

Dr. Dalal completed his residency in orthopedic surgery at the University of Illinois at Chicago and a fellowship in hip and knee replacement at the Florida Orthopaedic Institute. At both locations, he worked with world-renowned joint replacement specialists who have been responsible for the development of surgical techniques and joint implant design.

As a personal philosophy, Dr. Dalal always exhausts nonoperative treatments, including bracing, cortisone, viscosupplementation, and regenerative techniques, when treating arthritis.

When surgery is necessary, Dr. Dalal believes in improving outcomes through precise surgical techniques and the use of cutting-edge technology. Dr. Dalal is the only surgeon in the Central Valley performing fully custom Conformis knee replacement. He also performs computer-navigated knee replacement and anterior hip replacement.

When he is not caring for patients, Dr. Dalal enjoys spending time with his wife and kids, skiing, bicycling, and a great cup of coffee.
