As a fellowship-trained pain management specialist, Dr. Lance Larsen has dedicated his practice to providing evidence-supported treatments for patients experiencing chronic pain due to conditions such as complex regional pain syndrome and migraine disorders. He specializes in taking a multidisciplinary approach that includes interventions, non-opioid medications, physical therapy, pain psychology, and complementary and alternative treatments, like yoga and acupuncture as well as home exercise programs.

After graduating from the University of Notre Dame with his Bachelor of Science degree, Dr. Larsen earned his medical degree at the American University of the Caribbean School of Medicine in St. Maarten, Netherlands Antilles. He completed his residency in anesthesiology at Penn State Health Milton S. Hershey Medical Center in Hershey, Pennsylvania. Following his residency training, Dr. Larsen underwent additional training in pain management through a fellowship at Stanford University Medical Center in Palo Alto, California.

Dr. Larsen has extensive experience in performing spinal injections; peripheral nerve blocks, ablation, and stimulation; spinal cord stimulation; and sympathetic nerve blocks. He is committed to working with each patient to develop a personalized treatment plan that meets their individual needs and goals and gets them back to their highest quality of life.

In addition to his medical commitments, Dr. Larsen enjoys reading, fantasy baseball, and spending time with his family as well as playing tennis, chess, guitar, and recreational softball and basketball.

Dr. Ky earned his osteopathic medical degree in 2004 from the Touro University College of Osteopathic Medicine, Vallejo, CA. In 2008, he completed his residency in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine. In 2009, Dr. Ky was granted acceptance to the Johns Hopkins Pain Fellowship Program in the Department of Anesthesiology – Pain Medicine to advance his skills and knowledge in interventional pain management. Gopi Kasturi, M.D., is a board-certified physiatrist specializing in pain management and physical medicine and rehabilitation. After receiving his medical degree from Armed Forces Medical College in Pune, India, Dr. Kasturi completed his residency in physical medicine and rehabilitation at William Beaumont Hospital in Royal Oak, Michigan. He then went on to complete a research fellowship at Virginia Commonwealth University and Hunter Holmes McGuire VA Medical Center in Richmond, Virginia.

In addition to neuromusculoskeletal rehabilitation and pain management, Dr. Kasturi has a keen interest in osteoporosis. He has written and lectured extensively on this topic.

Before joining Sierra Pacific Orthopedics, Dr. Kasturi was on staff at the VA Hospital in Fresno, California, where he served as Chair of the Interdisciplinary Chronic Pain Committee and was instrumental in advancing pain management and rehabilitation services to our country’s brave soldiers.

Dr. Kasturi is an associate editor of PM&R, the official scientific journal of the American Academy of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation (AAPM&R).
